1917년 포르투갈의 파티마에서 성모마리아께서 발현하신 파티마의 기적을 아시나요?

 

Do you know the miracle of Fatima, where the Virgin Mary appeared in Fatima, Portugal in 1917?

 

세 어린이가 돌담을 쌓으며 놀고 있던 중 

 

하늘에서 갑자기 번개가 치더니 아이들이 놀던 곳 근처의 작은 떡갈나무에서

 

성모 마리아께서 발현하신 실제사건입니다.

 

This is an actual incident in which the Virgin Mary appeared from a small oak tree near the place 

where the three children were playing by building a stone wall 

 

when lightning suddenly struck from the sky.

 

 

아이들은 이 사실을 부모에게 이야기하지만 아이들의 부모는 이 사실을 믿지 않습니다.

 

Children tell their parents about this, but their parents do not believe it.  

 

그래도 아이들은 성모님의 말씀대로 매월 13일에 그곳에 가서 기도를 했고 그때마다 성모마리아께서

나타나셨다고 합니다.

 

Still, the children went there and prayed there on the 13th of every month, 

just as the Blessed Mother said, and the Virgin Mary appeared every time.

 

이후 세 아이들이 성모 마리아를 만났다는 사실이 소문을 타고 삽시간에 포르투갈 전역으로 퍼져나갔고

 

수천 명의 사람들이 아이들을 만나 보려고 파티마로 몰려들었습니다.

 

Afterwards, the rumor that the three children had met the Virgin Mary quickly spread throughout Portugal, and thousands of people flocked to Fatima to see the children.

 

 

 

성모 마리아가 3번째로 발현하신 9월 13일 이후 아이들은 자신들의 말을 의심하는 사람들을 향해서 더 큰 기적을 보여주겠다고 말합니다.

 

After September 13, when the Virgin Mary appeared for the third time, the children say they will show even greater miracles to those who doubt their words.

 

그 다음 달인 10월 13일 아이들의 말을 확인하려고 신문기자와 수많은 인파가 파티마에 몰려들었습니다.

 

The following month, on the 13th of October, newspaper reporters and large crowds of people 

flocked to Fatima to check on the children's words.

 

얼마나 모였는지 정확히 알 수는 없지만 대체로 3만에서 10만 명 정도로 추정된다고 합니다.

 

It is not known exactly how many people gathered, but it is estimated that between 30,000 and 100,000 people gathered.
