파파 부오노(Papa Buono, ‘착한 교황’) 교황 성 요한 23세(Pope Saint John XXIII)는 1881년 11월 25일 이탈리아 베르가모(Bergamo)에서 소토 일몬테(Sotto il Monte)에서 가난한 농부인 조반니 론칼리(Giovanni Roncalli)의 14명의 자녀 중 넷째로 태어났다.
Papa Buono ('Good Pope') Pope Saint John XXIII was born on November 25, 1881 in Bergamo, Italy, to the poor farmer Giovanni Sotto il Monte and He was the fourth of Giovanni Roncalli's 14 children.
