로마 순교록의 성녀 아녜스(Saint Agnes)의 수난기에 덧붙여진 추가 부분에 의하면 그녀는 성녀 아녜스(Saint Agnes)의 동갑내기 수양자매였다.

According to the additional section added to the Passion of Saint Agnes in the Roman Martyrology, she was Saint Agnes' foster sister of the same age. 

 

그녀는 먼저 순교했던 성녀 아녜스(Saint Agnes)의 묘를 찾아가 슬퍼하며 기도하는 도중에 이교도들의 돌에 맞아 무참히 죽임을 당한 것이다.

While she was mourning and praying at the tomb of Saint Agnes, who had previously been martyred, she was brutally killed by pagans with stones. 

 

그래서 성녀 아녜스(Saint Agnes)의 묘지 위에 세워진 성당과 나란히 그녀의 무덤 위에도 성당이 하나 세워졌다.

So, along with the cathedral built over the tomb of Saint Agnes, a cathedral was also built over her tomb.
