오르나시외의 복녀 베아트릭스(Blessed Beatrice of Ornacieux)는 어린 나이에도 불구하고 카르투지오회(Carthusians)에 들어갔다.
Blessed Beatrice of Ornacieux joined the Carthusians despite her young age.
그녀는 지극히 엄격한 생활을 오히려 즐기는 사람처럼 살았는데, 그녀의 천상 정배를 옆에 모신 듯이 행동하였다고 한다.
She lived as if she enjoyed an extremely strict life, and it is said that she behaved as if she had her heavenly spouse by her side.
또 그녀는 오랜 수도생활 중에 주님을 수차례나 목격했는데, 주님께서 볼 수 있는 형상으로 그녀 곁에 서 계셨다고 한다.
It is also said that she witnessed the Lord several times during her long monastic life, and that the Lord was standing next to her in a visible form.
그녀는 특히 주님의 수난을 깊이 묵상하고 항상 함께 나누려는 마음을 지녔고 또 성체에 대한 그녀의 신심은 너무나 지극하여 성체를 모시는데 그치지 않았다.
In particular, she deeply meditated on the Passion of the Lord and always had a desire to share it, and her devotion to the Eucharist was so extreme that she did not stop at receiving the Eucharist.
그리고 그녀는 미사에 완전히 빠져들어 탈혼(ecstasy) 상태가 계속되는 경우가 많았다. 또한 그녀는 주님의 다섯 상처를 환시를 통해 자주 보았다고 전해진다.
And she was completely immersed in the mass and often remained in a state of ecstasy. It is also said that she often saw the Lord's five wounds in visions.
