성녀 플로라(Saint Flora)는 누구나 칭찬하는 착한 어린이로 성장하여 주위 사람들의 사랑을 한 몸에 받았다.
Saint Flora grew up to be a good child who was praised by everyone and was loved by everyone around her.
장성하여 부모의 결혼 강요를 완강히 거부하고 하느님께 일생을 봉헌하기로 결심하여 볼리외에 있던 성 요한의 구호 수녀회(Congregation of the Sisters of St.John of God)에 입회하였다.
When she grew up, she stubbornly refused her parents' pressure to marry and decided to dedicate her life to God, so she joined the Congregation of the Sisters of St. John of God in Beaulieu.
한 번은 자신의 삶이 너무나 평탄하다는 그릇된 생각에 빠진 적이 있고, 동시에 세속의 쾌락을 탐하려는 불같은 유혹으로 깊은 실망감을 맛보는 등 많은 어려움을 겪었다.
